PermalinkI have 3 internal hard discs in my pc.
1, 500Gb SSD system disk (C:)
2. 2 TB SATA for programs and data (D:)
3. SATA disk for data, reported by AOMEI PArtition Assistant and Disk Management as 1.5 Tb (E:)
Suddenly over the last 2 or 3 days this disk E seems to dusappear and is not reported in any disk management
orogram. When I first boot up the disk is present and can be accessed as normal. After a while, however, it
disappears from any reprting program.
When the disk is present CrystalDiskInfo reports its status as Good and Device Manager reports that the device
is working properly.
Am I correct in thinking that the disk is disappearing because the problem means that it is showing signs of
failkure ? Is this one of the signs of failuer ? If so, does it mean imminent failure ?
I would be grateful for any advice.
TIA
