I have a file "lc.dat" appeared on my desktop, today's date and timed at
13.14.

Original owner was "SYSTEM" and I had no permissions on it, have managed
to give myself full permission and opened it in Ultraedit but it's
meaningless.

MSFT Defender has scanned it and found no problems.

Any thoughts as to what it might be? I'll download Malwarebytes and use
that as well.

How does a gender neutral bog differ from a unisex bog ?
It has a non-binary number on the door.

Malwarebytes didn't flag it but it doesn't like "PowerISO8-x64.exe" which
is legitimate s/w but the installer always offers a couple of things I
don't want, even though It's a paid version.
