Looking for a replacement laptop.

At the moment I am looking at Dell Refurbished.

Processor choices:

"1x Intel Core i7-1071OU (6-Core, 1.10 GHz)"

"1x Intel Core i5-10400H (4-Core, 2.60 GHz)"

Does base processor speed trump extra threads?

Oh, and the 3rd option today, with touch screen:

"1x Intel Core i5-1035G1 (4-Core, 1.00 GHz)"
Is this likely to be adequate?

The most arduous task will be driving a 4K screen in Zoom/Teams meetings.

I've started reading about Intel core branding and already have a headache.
Not least because the i7 is only clocked at 1.1GHz.

The i7 seems a respectable processor with ancient, slow graphics.
Are either of the other a better option?

Cheers

Depends on usecase. The "u" processors are designed for mobile devices so
are optimised for low power, hence the lower clock speed. So if you want to
eke out battery life the i7 is better.

The i5 is a desktop CPU so uses much more power.

The last one will probably struggle.
