Computer Cases

I have been looking for a computer case with 8 hot swappable drives for a
while and found a Silverstone case that seems to fit the bill.

Googled for reviews and found several. One on YouTube seemed quite
detailed and authoritative except that 2 or 3 times the chap pointed to
the I/O shield slot on the back and said the case had a bonus point, a
vertical slot for an additional drive.

What sort of credibility can I give to the review do you think?

Thanks for teaching me the meaning of plethora, it means a lot.

Ah, this one is white :)
Lots of hard drives on this one (Ali Express) but not hot swap.

of) Compact

However, something else in this build might be of interest for a NAS
project. CPU / Motherboard / Electricity draw.
I have just installed the black standoffs in a black case, wish one of the
had been white!

Incidentally after disconnecting the motherboard from the old case I
picked it up by the CPU heat sink/fan and ended up with the heat sink/fan
in my hand and the motherboard still in the case. None of the holding pins
had clicked! I think I have corrected it but I'd rather have screws.

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name.
It was a right bugger to get him back when he ran off.

Nice. That motherboard is a steal, and sadly the ebay price has gone up 5x
since that video.

However any random mATX board should do, perhaps with a NanoKVM if you want
remote management.
However, something else in this build might be of interest for a NAS
project. CPU / Motherboard / Electricity draw.
It's definitely a useful inspiration / data point.

I've seen him review other NASes, I'd have thought he knew an I/O shield
when he saw one, obviously the manual does say that is what it is

I couldn't finf his promised part2 where he actually built the thing

I couldn't find part 2 either. Criticism of ventilation but it would have
SSDs in my use, the new version is a hell of a lot more and doesn't really
suit me as well.
