I put my new build together this morning. It booted second time - I had
the power LED & Power Switch connectors reversed.

Gigabyte's control Centre has updated drivers and the BIOS and all seem
well so far. Enormous relief that I can still do it after my experience
with squished pins last time.

I have ordered an additional CPU power cable as the one I thought I had
found last night isn't modular, there seems to be a view that you don't
need the additional power if you don't overclock (which I won't) but I
want it to be stable of course.

Is the Sabrent Rocket NVMe a good bet as the boot device? The one I have
on the old PC is faster than any of the others I have.

Well pleased!

Working my way round the EUFI BIOS. Memory was running at 2.2 something
(GB/s???) which was odd as it is 3,600 memory. The BIOS had an option to
run it at higher speed which I ticked and it is now running at the full
3,600/ That made no difference at all to the benchmarks though!

The Sabrent arrived today, it's PCIe 4 instead of the Crucial which was 3
(something along those lines anyway) SSD BM says:

Crucial R/W 1679/909 overall 1950
Sabrent R/W 4288/2365 overall 6184

I am now officially the slowest object in this house!

My Mattias keyboard bounces and I managed to mispell my user name, might
re-install tomorrow, the hassle in adding another user is unbelievable...

How does a gender neutral bog differ from a unisex bog ?
It has a non-binary number on the door.
